sunday sort of light - white!

...

at this moment
the snow has stopped.
the ground is white.
the trees too.


but the sky,
the sky it is
bright, bright blue.



there are shadows on the building just opposite mine,
i see the branches
of the catalpa trees swinging there,
their beans
blowing.


i can see the shadows of clouds
on that same wall,
whizzing by.
the wind moving them quickly
from the west
toward the east.



it's really very nice.
it's almost like watching a 2 second short
made just for me.

simple, but beautiful.



today i will bake.
and get ready for my holiday journey.
and revel in the last
sunday before christmas.


+ there are three small spoons left in the shop.

all of which can still arrive to
canada by express mail
and to
the usa via courier
by wednesday of this week,
so says the post-lady.



that said,
you will have to order today,
so i can ship tomorrow.
