so remember i said i had the feeling
it was going to be a good week
like good things were on their way to me
well, i was right.
it was indeed, a great week!
though i'm a day late on the herriott grace update.
it's up right now!
and it's great.
the new spoons,
they are really. really. beautiful.
and next week,
next week there are to be bracelets.
pretty exciting i think.
we'll have to wait to see.
and the other great things,

i just love it.

hope your week was filled
with similar sorts of small joys.
as for this very moment,
i'm sitting at the kitchen table
looking out the side window
at the small random bits of snow
that are falling from the sky.
since i woke
they've fallen.
and the ground
instead of green and brown
or white with fresh snow,
is that light grey
before the flakes pile atop one another.
i see the birds,
woodpeckers and cardinals
both with christmasy seeming bits of red.
hurrying from branch to branch
frenzied to get that last small seed
before a big snow comes.
and i see the neighbour dog
outside in his yard,
looking up to the sky
like he is surveying,
how much snow will really fall from there today.
as for me,
my coffee has just called,
the steam flying
from the small valve
on the side of my stove top espresso maker.
the heat has switched on
and i will go.
leaving you to this wonderful
winter
morning.
