a few things.
i long for the ocean most days and for the mountains.
i miss the smell of my horse, the curve of her back
the lines on her hoofs.
i like the bustle of the city.
the sounds that come with.
the honking of horns, the moving of cars,
the chatter of voices.
i feel alive from all the energy.
but there's a calm you don't get here.
one that comes only with the the smell of sea air.
with the click clack of a horses shoes.
and with a wind filled with crisp mountain mist.
-------
and other things:
i like the simplicity of joslyn's post on minimal
there's a herriott grace update to come this weekend and it's good.
*edit*
the update to come later in the week due to my broken camera, sigh.
plus, there are some developments on that front.
in the beginning stages, but very good news.
i'll share more soon i promise.
at the moment the clock is ticking so i've got to stay focused.
but i can't wait to share.
and i LOVE these photos.

i find that the small things are the most beautiful. thanks for this post!
such a beautiful photo!
That was a good post. That made me feel a lot better. :)
I love the way you write. This photo is so beautiful. And your horse sounds so peaceful. I often felt like something inside me couldn't quite relax when I was in the city, despite how much I adored it there. There is something about a backyard and trees that is so comforting. I miss the mountains and ocean air, too.
