sunday sort of light - tuesday.
last night i felt like squash soupoh i think the last days of summer are upon us
it seems early, but i like it.
the wind is brisk,
but the sun shines just enough
there's a distinct hint of autumn in the air
that familiar feeling that fall brings.
warm white bread from the oven
and mexican hot chocolate near to the ocean.
the thing is though
that i'm only 4 days away from summer vacation.
so for me it really must be summer still.
so, a note to autumn
dear mr fall:
i really love you.
but, can you please give me a few weeks?
i'm not quite ready for woolen tights
and pretty cable sweaters just yet.
i will be though,
i love your time of year best.
but just a few weeks?
i'd really appreciate a few weeks.

Cute note to autumn! It's raining alot here and it's been much cooler too (although we're supposed to have summer all year round)!
