hi!

i've got a busy day today
but wanted just to say hello.
i hope your day is swell
so far.

it's sunny here today.

though chilly.
it feels like days filled with
woolly gloves,
icy ponds
and winter boots
are just around the corner.

i look forward to it

kind of half halfheartedly mind you.
i always love the first snow fall,
it's the 21st or 51st
i'm not so fond of.

happy trails.

+ have you seen celine's balloon trip?

+ or this car full of watermelons?

+ or how about this little haircut. gah, she's so cute.

+ remember those buttons cookies a while back,
i made more yesterday.
yum.

I wish we could stay here in autumn, and only flirt a bit with winter. I'm with you, the sweaters and gloves are fun, but the parkas and scarves and windchill isn't so much my cup of tea.

Speaking of tea, those cookies look like its perfect partner.

I love your blog, and love the soft light so many of your photographs have. It gives them a nostalgic quality, a mood that makes me think of A la recherche du temps perdu (sounds silly, maybe, but...). The button cookies are such a sweet idea, too.
I remember reading some time back, you bought the F troupe booties (heels). Are you loving them? I hopped on the bandwagon this fall and bought the R. Comey penpals - - still waiting, and am keeping fingers crossed they fit.
