Nikole, I saw the tapestry over at D*S, but no source. Would you mind sharing its background with us? It hasn't left my mind since I first saw it.

Lovely apartment, Nikole. It's so beautiful just like you!

Also, ice cream sandwiches, wow. Those look like the perfect chocolate chip cookie.

hi everyone, thank you for saying so!

a merry mishap: yup, it's bookhou, i love it!

i wish: thank you, i found the tapestry at a antique market here in toronto. i don't know much about it except that the seller told me she thinks it's from the 1960s. ;)

It's wonderful to see your home. I love all the white with touches of colour.

I'm adding my name to the list of those who loved seeing your pretty place on d*s. That tapestry is such a great find!

Will any good chocolate chip cookie recipe do? These look especially nice and thick, and with most recipes I've used, the cookies so often spread out...

Hope you have a nice weekend!

so, when in italia i missed your wonderful feature on d*s. i took a look tonight and wow, nikole, what a pleasure to be invited into your home. as an interior designer i vacillate b/w so many different styles and sometimes gravitate to more bold colors, but your home absolutely inspired me-the care, the handmade treasures, all the wonderful natural wood...i barely know you, but it seems as if your home is perfectly "you", not something a lot of people can say. yay to this.
